WHAT IS GENDERS → A gender of noun indicates
whether a person or animal we are referring to is male or female.
There are 4 types of genders:
1] MASCULINE GENDER → A
noun that refers to a male is said to be of the masculine gender.
EXAMPLE: boy, father, king, grandfather, etc.
2] FEMININE GENDER →
A noun that refers to a female is said to be of feminine gender.
EXAMPLE: girl, mother, queen, grandmother, etc.
3] COMMON GENDER → A
noun that is used to refer to both male and female is said to be of the common
gender.
EXAMPLE: student, doctor, patient, teacher, etc.
4] NEUTER GENDER → A
noun that denotes a non-living thing, which is neither masculine or feminine is
said to be of the neuter gender.
EXAMPLE: book, table, umbrella, pen, etc.
